Customizing options
Another advantage is the customizing options available. You can choose from very different options within DCO Enterprise.
Security access
You can activate or de-activate the security access to DCO Enterprise. If you have disabled this option, you can access all different parts of the program without any further password.
If you have activated the security, somebody without a password can only arrange the boatlists and the express-checkin. For the other 3 access levels you need different passwords. This is how you can allow different people to work with DCO and to protect the not needed data from them.
Other customizing
In the system settings you can set up many other things. From the country you are working until the currency you want to use until the logo, header and footer on your invoices. You can refer to the user manual for all the advanced settings.
Monthly closing

If you activate that option you should also activate the security access, because you have to finalize and close every month in DCO. If you close a month, no other bookings can be made - except for somebody who have the highest access level (security level 3).

With this option you can protect data who are finished and should not be changed again. This option will also be necessary, if you want to consolidate any data from several diving schools.
Monthly stock controlloing / inventory

Do you want to make a monthly stock inventory? If yes, you can activate this options (makes only sense together with monthly closing and security access option). At the end of the month you have to count your stock items and to enter it into DCO. Then you find out automatically, what's your lost equipment this month.
